Romans: For or Against Torah?

Do we then make void the Torah through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Torah.

Traditional Christianity makes the claim that a believer in Yeshua as Messiah does not need to follow the torah. Is that true? What do the scriptures tell us? Listen in as Eddie begins this study in Romans. Do we do away with the torah because we are saved by grace through faith? Paul answers this question emphatically in Romans 3:31: Do we then make void the Torah through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Torah.  After you are saved by grace through faith, Yeshua said, “If you love me, keep my commandments.”

In this teaching series in Romans, Eddie delves into a number of passages that traditional Christianity has used to make the claim that believers in Yeshua as Messiah do not need to follow the Torah. Eddie goes over these passages to reveal them in their Hebraic context with a Torah perspective. We need to remember that as we study the Hebraic roots of Christianity that we must keep everything centered on Yeshua the Messiah. Yeshua said that the Hebrew scriptures are written of Him, and that the Torah is written of Him. In order to fully understand our bible, we need to see Yeshua from Genesis to Revelation.
