For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60: 2-3
Yeshua the Messiah is that great light. His Torah is light. They that dwell in the shadow of death (that is, in exile) upon them, light has shined. This is a prophecy of the Messiah, the great light, coming to bring restoration to those int he Northern Kingdom who have been taken captive by the Assyrians, and who were dwellilng in spiritual darkness when they departed from Torah. History is prophecy: this is a theme and principle for us today!
The role, task and function of the Messiah was to die on the tree, not only for forgiveness of sins and personal salvation but also to gather and unite the 12 tribes of Israel. This is an event that is associated with Messianic times. The Messiah WILL DO it! In Hebraic thinking, history is prophecy. In Genesis, when Joseph reunites with his brothers, this is a prophecy about a future reuniting between Northern and Southern kingdom.
Right now, many of us who are of the Northern Kingdom, or the House of Joseph/Ephraim, are scattered to all nations of the earth. However, as the time draws near for Messiah Yeshua to return the exile of Northern kingdom will soon come to an end. Listen in and learn:
*Who the exiles of the Northern kingdom are.
*Paul’s primary outrach, ministry and message was to the 10 tribes of the Northern kingdom.
*How the 10 tribes become grafted in to the Olive tree, the “commonwealth” of Israel.
*How the 10 tribes went into exile, forgetting who they were, forgetting God’s true name, and forgetting the Torah.
*How the 10 tribes of today are being awakened to return to keeping Torah by the Spirit.
*How Yeshua will end the exile and lead His scattered sheep home to Israel.
