Hebrews

Paul advocated that we follow the Torah by the help and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Paul said both Jew and non-Jew were to follow the Torah (Rom 3:31, Rom 7:21). So when Paul makes these explicit statements that he follows Torah, how is it that traditional Christianity, when reading Paul, comes to the thought process that once you become a believer in Yeshua as Messiah, that you are NOT supposed to follow the Torah? Because of these misunderstandings, we are doing a study series, “Torah in the New Testament”.

One of the main points in Hebrews is this: Yeshua is a Melchezedik Priest. Hebrews compares and contrasts Yeshua being the Melchezedik Priest with the role and task of the Levitical Priesthood, showing that Yeshua being Messiah in His role as Melchizedik Priest is SUPERIOR to the Levitical Priesthood.
