There was a marriage that took place at Mt Sinai between Yeshua and his people, the House of Jacob. The record of the marriage vows are the Ten commandments, and when the people said “We will obey”, this was their “I do”. His bride immediately broke the marriage covenant at the golden calf incident. Yeshua had every right to divorce his bride and put her away, but His heart was so broken over this that He was willing to lay down His life on the tree for her so that the marriage relationship could be restored. For the bride, His people, to be restored to Him, she has to REPENT, and RETURN to the God of Israel and to following HIS torah by the spirit.
Later, the prophets of Israel brought charges against the children of Israel. The charges had to do with how they were treating each other. They brought a covenant lawsuit against the children of Israel. The major complaint/charge was that the children of Israel were mistreating each other. This was the primary reason WHY both northern and southern kingdom were taken into captivity and evicted out of the land. They were not taking of the orphan, the widow, and the fatherless; they had crooked and unjust weights and measures.
We can enter through Door 1 for salvation: believe on Him who He sent (Yeshua) as your savior. But there is MORE. For the ABUNDANT life, for the BEST that life has to offer (Chai) there is Door 2: Love your neighbor as yourself.
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son, Yeshua HaMashiach, and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 1 John 3:23
