Romans 2 ~ Paul and Circumcision

What is Paul’s perspective on circumcision? Paul writes about the issue of circumcision in Romans 2. Paul’s argument is that for one to come into the new covenant with the Messiah, his Torah argument comes from Deut. 10: 12,16, where we are told to “circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and be stiff-necked no longer.” In Romans 2, Paul compares and contrasts NON Jews who follow Torah and love the Messiah, who have been circumcised in their heart with Jews who ARE circumcised in the flesh but who do NOT follow the Torah. “For not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified”. Romans 2: 13
