Romans ~ Pt 6a ~ Alive in Yeshua, Alive in Following His Torah!

In this teaching series in Romans, Eddie walks us through the book of Romans to reveal it in its Hebraic context teaching it with a Torah perspective. We have been learning that AFTER  we are saved by grace through faith in Messiah Yeshua, that we are to follow and keep the Torah by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Paul said in Romans 7:22:
“For I DELIGHT in the Torah of God after the inward man.”
In this session, Eddie finishes up chapter 6 in Romans, and puts it into it’s correct context.
Romans 6:14 states: “Sin will no longer have dominion over you.”
What is sin? It is defined as transgressing the Torah. So, transgressing the Torah will no longer have dominion over you! Why? Because our “old man” has to die. Our old man did not want to follow the Torah, our old man was lawless and rebellious, carnal and worldly. Our old man dies and then the new man is “born again”. We are alive to God in Messiah Yeshua, and now we become empowered to follow and keep His Torah by the Holy Spirit.
