What is Torah? ~ Pt 3 ~ Messiah is the Goal at Which the Torah Aims

And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”  Matthew 13:10-11

Give ear, O my people, to my Torah: incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old. Psalm 78: 1-2

Yeshua was the giver of the Torah at Mt Sinai. Yeshua tells us that the way we are to love him is to keep His commandments and follow the Torah.
Yeshua said in John 14:15: “If you love me, keep my commands.” In this verse Yeshua is using the principle of remez, to “hint” at something. He was making a connection to the Ten commandments in Exodus 20:6 where it is written: “I show mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. He was making the connection for His followers that to follow HIM and love HIM is follow the Torah by the Spirit.
